As you are out shopping for new equipment remember per Cal Ripken, only bats stamped with the new USA stamp will be allowed for play as of 2018.

The Green Bay Eastside Baseball Leagues (Minors and Majors Divisions) have adopted the new bat standard.  These bats will be stamped with a stamp.  These bats are now available for purchase.  Due to insurance requirements, there will be no exceptions to this rule.

It is important to understand that these rules are for the Green Bay Eastside Baseball League and do not necessarily apply to tournaments if your player participates in any travel baseball.

2018 Guideline (Source:  Easton Bat Company):

The bats currently on the market, which are marked with a 1.15BPF stamp, will no longer be legal for play in these leagues.

Additionally, beginning on January 1, 2018, under the new USA Baseball rule, all players 14 and under (not including Tee-Ball and Bambino) will be able to use approved USA Baseball 2-5/8" barrels in Little League, Babe Ruth, Cal Ripken, PONY, Dixie, AABC, and AAU youth baseball.
