Green Bay Youth Baseball

Sluggers is a travel team experience for those looking to play more baseball over and above league play. Our goal is to make travel baseball a possibility for all players interested in playing competitive baseball. 

• Playing for the Green Bay Sluggers has one major requirement, the player MUST be an active participant in our league.
• There are teams available at every level from 8U through 12U.  There is no playing up with the exception of at the 8U level if players are needed to complete a team, 7 year olds will be allowed to tryout.
• Practices run throughout spring and tournaments are typically played on weekends May – July.  There are approximately 4 – 7 tournaments per year, some involving travel.
• Green Bay Sluggers is run entirely separate from the Green Bay Eastside Baseball League.  All finances are separate from league finances.  There is typically additional fund raising options available to help raise the player fees associated will playing for the Sluggers.  Typically, player fees range from $300 - $500 in addition to any travel expenses.
• Sluggers tryouts are separate from league assessments and will occur assessment day after regular league assessments in January.
• Commitment to attending practices and tournaments is required.
• Sluggers is not for everyone.  Playing time must be earned.
