Major League Baseball

Welcome to Green Bay Youth Major League Baseball! 

  • This league is for players age 11-12 as of 4/30.
  • Major League Baseball is a kid-pitch league. Pitching will take place from 50 feet and the bases are set at 70 feet.  
  • Games take place weeknights at East River Optimist Park - North field, Debroux Park and Edison’s lower field.
  • Green Bay Youth Baseball offers two seasons for Major League, the regular spring season and fall ball season. 
  • The regular spring season runs May-July. The season ends with playoff games and some players may be selected for an All-Star game.
  • The fall ball season runs September-October. The season ends with playoff games.

Registration Information

Regular Spring/Summer Season 

  • Registration is now closed. Please contact a Board Member for additional information.
  • Registration takes place in late November/early December.
  • The spring season requires assessments for Major League players. Assessments will be on January 14, 2024.
  • Teams are drafted following assessments.
  • Each participant receives a hat and shirt as part of their registration fee. 
  • In addition to the registration fee, there is also a small fundraising requirement. 

Fall Ball Season

  • Registration for the Fall Ball season takes place in late July.
    • Registration is now closed. Please contact a Board Member if you would still like to register your child.
  • Teams are drafted after registration closes.
  • Each participant receives a hat and shirt as part of their registration fee.
  • No fundraising is required for fall ball.

Green Bay Youth Baseball encourages the development of potential ball players regardless of their financial situation. If your player is interested in joining but financial constraints are limiting their ability to play, please complete the Financial Hardship Application and send to:
